Daniel de Córdoba Dance Arts Center, strives to teach the traditional styles as well as the history of the flamenco. You will learn basic technique needed to dance and later, once learned, you will be taught basic dances from different regions of Spain. Pilar Andújar / Austin    [Updated 02/25/11]

Pilar Andújar is a professional Flamenco Dancer,Choreographer and Instructor from Spain.She was working in all tablaos in Madrid and with the best companies of flamenco: Blanca del Rey, Antonio Gades, Riverdance...

She has performed as an invited artist with her own show at the Instituto Cervantes in Istanbul (Turkey), the International Festival of Baltic Ballet at the Latvian National Opera House in Riga (Latvia), the Spanish Embassy in Sarajevo (Bosnia), and the Spanish Embassy in Hanoi (Vietnam) for the guitar festival of Nha Trang among others.

As a choreographer for the company of Carlota Santana Flamenco-Vivo she created: Palillos y pies; Aires flamencos; and Carmen, for the company of Yuriko Yoda in Japan, she completed the following choreographies: Carmen; Ama; Zerda; and Mrs. Macbeth.

She has also made the choreography and scenic movement for the following theatre plays:
'Sainetes' and 'La Comedia nueva o el Café' for the National Classical Theatre Company in Madrid (Spain).
